Apollo RP is designed to be modular, easy to use, fast/efficient and easy to expand upon. It features many design improvements from Harbu RP and Phoenix RP, which it was based upon. Apollo RP Plugin Set Apollo RP features many differences from other plugin sets, including the following: API - It has an actual API, meaning for example in order to get someone\'s money, it\'s 1 line instead of 100. Forward Interception - Some part of it you don\'t like or want to change? No problem! No more recompiling the plugins, you can just write a new one to intercept that part and run your own script. If you can\'t script, there are cvars for all common functions. Speed - This is the main improvement next to the API; outside of debug mode, there should be absolutely no lag caused by server load even on older computers. SQLx - It uses threaded querying, meaning your SQL server can be extremely far away and you probably won\'t even notice the difference. Also, the lag that every Harbu RP server seems to have is non-existent. Feature additions - There are many extra features, some that come along the base package and others that are part of other addons. The better API (which Harbu RP never had in the first place) makes it easier to write addons, too. Map rotation - You can actually run a solid map rotation with ARP, as everything in the SQL is customizable. You can change the database used for each map, the name of your tables, basically anything. Total rewrite - This isn’t simply an expansion or fix for Harbu, it’s a full rewrite. It incorporates the best things about Harbu but gets rid of the bad things. Improved Rob Mod - The rob mod included will function on any map and has its very own scripting language; this means that you can script exactly what happens when someone robs a place, including addition of effects, using entities and other miscellany. Backward Compatibility - ARP features a backward compatibility layer that includes basic commands from Harbu and a way to port items backward. It will work for most basic items such as Weed Mod or others that don\'t connect to the SQL database. Improved Extensions - I\'m sure you\'ve probably used one of my plugins before. Most of them have been incorporated with ARP in the base package, but they\'ve been improved. The jail mod, for example, has been drastically improved and partially rewritten. It is now literally bulletproof as tested by a team of professional jailbreakers. Supported - Harbu dropped support for Harbu RP a while ago (as far as I know, even if he didn\'t, he doesn\'t really do much). More to Come - These are just the things we\'ve already completed. We\'ll add more objectives as we decide on doing them and completing them. Third-Party Extensions Apollo RP already has many unique extensions written by 3rd-party developers. Many of these are available for the currently open release of Phoenix RP, Beta 1 RC9. Here are some of the interesting ones: Hologuard - A bot that follows you around and protects you. He will shoot at anyone who shoots you, anyone you shoot at, or anyone who shoots him. He includes a vocal response system using keywords that allows him to follow basic commands and respond. Carmod - This is currently the most unique carmod ever made. It features a completely different method from all others written in the past to solve the problems that others have experienced. This is not complete and probably won\'t be for a long time, but a teaser version is available that features basic movement and some extras. Casino - Want to pass some time? Drop by the casino and play blackjack, slots and other games as I think of them. You can make lots of money this way, or customize it such that the player will pretty much always lose money by playing. In-Game Applications - Tired of using your forums all the time for applications? With this new plugin, players can apply in-game and admins can also review said applications in-game. While it\'s not designed for extensive use or high-level jobs, it\'s great for a server first starting out. Medical Tools - Commonly known as \"Pain Mod\", this plugin improves realism of wounds and gives the MD an actual purpose through realistic tools such as bandages, splints, scanners, etc. Many More - Other plugins include \"Holo Lounge\", a plugin similar to Hologuard, Clothes Mod, Sound Notifications, Say Items, Job Fair and more. NATO The Neo-ApolloRP Treaty Organization (NATO) was founded for the purpose of creating and preserving a stable foundation for the development of the TSRP community using Apollo RP and by protecting the open-source ideology. I would like to be clear and say that NATO\'s purpose is not to contain any other plugins or foster an alliance for the purpose of expansionism. NATO is a way for servers that support the open-source ideology to come together and improve the TSRP community. \"We are waiting for the long-promised invasion.
