username not valid?

I just opened my account today and am in the process of setting everything up and all of the sudden I can't log on with my username. I checked my e-mail to verify it being correct and when I hit "forgot password" I get a "The username is not valid" message. Can't do a support ticket as I can't log in so I'm asking here. Anyone know what I may have done?

I had some strange SQL error in all caps and it told me my name is not valid.

Yup, EXACTLY the same error.

Sent an e-mail to support and they said

We are currently undergoing unscheduled maintenance and the control panel is not up at this time. We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. I apologize for the inconvenience.
