Counter-Strike 1.6 servers began in 1999 as a modification of the
original Half-Life game. CS 1.6 is an online tactical first-person
shooter that puts a team of counter-terrorists against a team of
terrorists in a series of rounds that are won by either completing the
mission objective or eliminating the opposing force. There are currently
many professional online leagues supporting Counter Strike, including
CAL, CPL, OGL, and WCG.
Lowpings.net offers a wide variety of CS1.6 servers including 66 tick
and 100 tickrate servers. We also offer many custom maps such as
scoutzknivez and surf maps, as well as commonly used mods including AMX
Mod X, Gungame, Superhero Mod, and HLTV which allows users to watch or
record demos of a game in progress. MOst popular mods and maps can be installed with a single click inside our game server control panel.
